A nice alternative to having to resort to cold-pulls or even more aggressive cleaning approaches to your nozzles. You might be surprised how much gunk comes out in the first use if you've never cleaned your nozzles before. I bought this as part of a troubleshooting exercise with Rigid.Ink's technical support team due to an issue with their PLA Plus product - it did help somewhat (although I ultimately wasn't able to completely resolve my issues). The Floss will definitely see periodic use in my Prusa i3 Mk2 though, I was very impressed.

Good for changing between filament types and not wanting to have any residue to carbonise and clog the nozzle (like going from PLA to ABS for instance). Only a little bit needed so should last a while. Also the bag it comes in will hold most filament spools and is airtight to keep moisture away.

Great stuff, solved my problem in a few minutes. Turned out that there was a bit of filament stuck in the extruder gear, it got bits out of the extruder and then I pulled it out the bit came with it, problem solved. Would have to have Yemen it apart otherwise.

Actually works, cleaned out the nozzle on my raise 3D perfectly. Will use this between changing filaments such as ABS/PLA to keep things running as you actually done need to use that much. Very pleased.

Works as intended. Very useful when switching out different filament materials.

does a brilliant job sat cleaning the nozzle, however it can be a bit tricky to unload as it has a tendency to get stuck

Being new to 3D printing I thought I would need this more than I in fact have - at least in terms of helping to clear any nozzle blockages. However, I now routinely push a little through between filament changes as part of regular maintenance. It seems to work fine and, so far, I have not encountered problems, though I can't be sure how much difference this is making - time will tell I guess. Would I recommend it? Yes, it is a little pricey I think but if it save time on nozzle problems then its probably worth the investment. My machine is the desktop Malyan M200 (Monoprice Select Mini) which is an excellent little 3D printer so far.
